XTS3000 unmute problem

Post by dxon2m »

Guys,

I have setup a non-ASTRO personality with no PL on RX and TX, unmute rule set to "Unmute, Std Mute" and MDC Decode set to OR.

The radio will not unmute unless I set the PL defeat on or when I key up on that channel. Any thoughts on why it is doing that?

Thanks

Hi,
On my non-Astro personalities, I set it for Unmute, or Mute and have issues. Give that a try.

XTS host/dsp:

R07.02.02
DSP N07.03.10
Flash 599108-1C5E00-1

Funny when I took the XTS3K codeplug and cloned to my Astro Saber, the problem doesn't replicate itself. My Astro Saber host/dsp are as follows:

R05.60
I06.05.02
599308-5F4600-9

What I meant to say was I have no issues with that setting. Give it a try.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

I believe its a firmware mismatch in that XTS. The flashcode itself denoted one of the famous "Nick" radios.

I think someone last year described the same situation. You might want to scan thru this for more information on the whore radios:
