Consolette with Voice Inversion?

Post by KSP1401 »

Can you get the VHF XTL 5000 Consolette with a Voice Inversion scrambler option? I would be using this consolette as a control radio from our Gold series consoles. I would need to use the scrambler on some channels and not on other channels. Thanks

voice inversion was on the old T1600 consoles.
The XTL comes with various algorithms but not something as basic inversion.

I have found out that Motorola does not have the Voice Inversion on the XTL. You can get a external board to do this but then I couldn't control it as I needed per channel. I was told this is a Kenwood type of voice scrambling so I guess I will use the TK-7160 for this radio I need to control. Thanks,
