How to hook up flashkey/i-button for XTS3k??

Post by jmr061 »

Ok I have a legit host/dsp upgrade kit for the XTS3000 and I can't get it to work. Can someone who has done this before please verify how this works. Motorola sent two i-buttons and they appear to connect together. How does the rest of the setup go???? Using latest CPS. I am assuming the i-button must be plugged into the db25 on the S-RIB or am I wrong? The S-Rib won't power up with the I-button attached.

Thanks

Had to attached the TWO I-Buttons together and use on the parallel port and the thing finally worked. I have never dealt with I buttons before. Thanks for the help.
