Saber Bandsplit Change

Post by libuff »

hey all,

i got a saber 1, with 458-490 bandsplit... and a System Saber III with 430-470... and i would like to switch the two band splits, such that the saber I has the ham split, and the SSaber III has the T-band stuff...

can this be done?

Saber switch...

I have deleted my previous comments on this thread as I missed
the point that it asked for a swap between a standard Saber and
a Systems Saber. As far as I know this won't work.

Sorry for the confusion.

Tom is that the same with a Systems saber Vs. a standard saber? I thought the main board of a systems was different and only the modules were interchangeable.

A Saber and a Systems Saber do not share a common motherboard, so yes, their modules would need to be swapped, as opposed to the front shields.
