Does Motorola make such a thing?
If so, does anyone know where I can get one?

- What radios do you own?: Several
Hi Will,
Long-time, no-speak. Hope all is well.
I know that on some San Diego Police cars, they put the B7 (Dash-mount I believe, but could possibly have been remote) Spectras where the AM/FM radio would have went, and the mic comes up from under the dash. I cant remember if its plugged into the front of the radio... I want to say no. Eaither way, front or back, the run from the radio, under the dash and to the mic-clip was longer then a standard mic cable would allow.
I just 're-did' my office and want to use a A9 spectra head on a shelf above my desk and run the mic to the desk-top without a hanging curly-Q cord. I may have to make something custom...
Any ideas? (Other then the obvious... cutting a cord and extending the leads inside.)
