Looking for radio end of speaker wire cable part number

Post by Jim202 »

Have searched and looked and can't find it. Does anyone
have a part number for just the radio end of the speaker
wire and plug. This is the short cable that comes out of the
Astro Spectra front mount accessory connector. Could
also use the same type cable from a PM1500 or an XTL.

All I can find is the complete control cable assembly numbers.
Don't need the whole control cable, just the short speaker
assembly 2 wire cable with the plug. I can put my own pins
or solder it onto the radio connector as the case calls for.

It is made by AMP but I do not have the number here.

(Edit) Thanks tvsjr for the part numbers.

I don't buy that stuff from Moto directly. If you don't mind a little soldering, you can build your own for far less money.

All part numbers are Tyco/AMP MATE-N-LOK series.

Radio side:
1-480318-0 (body)
60619-1 (pins, need 2)

Speaker side:
1-480319-0 (body)
60620-1 (pins, need 2)

I typically order these parts from Mouser, http://www.mouser.com. The bodies are about $0.13/ea., and the pins are about $0.11/ea. I believe there's a $10 minimum order, so you can stock up.

Also note that similar connectors are used for strobe tubes - just 3 pin rather than two.
