xtva
Just a thought but I use an adapter for the xts series when doing my tuning. Would it be possible to modifyt his adapter, run the wire out the top instead of the back so it will fit in the xtva, and use that on the radio? That way when ignition power was shut off the adapter radio would lose power also?
I have recently built my own adapter, by modifying a battery case, because the orignal was not fitting very well. At one point I had to use clamps to hold it to the radio.
Anyway just a thought.

Did your adapter connect to the accessory connector or plug in as a battery would?
You have me thinking now and I have an XTVA and some radios I don't think they will repair so I think I will try it tomorrow. The radios need a flash for the encryption to work correctly and they don't want to spend the money.
I'll let you know.
