SysTel SE proramming
Does anyone know where the programming contacts are on the GP300s inside a SysTel SE?
Thanks.
Thanks.
bump
I got a hold of the service manual, it still doesn't show where to program. Any help here?
Re: bump
The connections are under the battery. There is a programming
adapter that replaces the normal battery for programming.
There should also be a small plastic sticky clear piece over
a recessed brass colored contact. This has to be removed
during the programming.
If you drop by the fire station in Covington on a Monday night,
you might find someone there that could point you in the
right direction.

Thanks for the help but these aren't regular GP300s. There is no battery. This repeater uses the guts of two GP300s that have been mounted on special boards inside the repeater. A regular GP300 programming back wont work.

Any info yet?
Re: SysTel SE proramming
You lift out the GP300 and program it with the GP300 programming/battery adapter.
I have the manual and it does not say anything about programming.
Make sure you use new heatsink compound on the TX radio when you put it back in the mount. I use Artic Silver.
