Can you remove the Privacy Plus programmng from a Visar?

Can you remove the Privacy Plus programmng from a Visar?

I just found out you can't clone a Visar with Privacy Plus. I was wondering if it could be reprogrammed to Conventional (option A, Position 9) and then use the source radio for cloning (ONLY the source radio is Privacy Plus)?

simply put 2 different radios.
you have to leave at least one system in the radio but if the source is PP and the target conventional, the only way is to manually copy the required stuff in

That is what I was afraid of! That means a cable, RIB box, AND expensive software.
