XTS3500

My FD is looking to get XTS3500 Vhf radios for the chief officers. Can anyone tell me the part numbers for the cable and CPS softwear so we can order it from motorola. TIA Duane

Standard jedi programing cable, No CPS softeware available for the XTS3500 series radios.

The software you need to purchase is RVN4170D Version R02.00.03

no still just DOS based RSS.

IIRC the XTS3500 is long NLA from Motorola as is DOS RSS. The radio was designed for the Feds, and the XTS2500 and 5000 are it's direct replacement.
Unless you're getting them for the asking, I'd tell your dept to invest in more current production radios. Support for the 3500 will be ending soon, last I checked they went out of production in 2001.

my original post is almost 3 years old and we have since gotten 5k's for officers.
