Motorola HT600 Model# H44SVU7120CN

Is this particular model a UHF or VHF series radio? If anyone could tell me I would greatly appreciate it. And would it be 2,8 or 16 channel?

Thanks Jim

I think the Ht600s were only 2 or 6ch. Anything more would probably been the MT1000 series.

I just googled H44SVU7120CN and two different e-slay auctions list it as UHF.

Can't say I can decode the model number myself, but I'm someone will be here who will. Better wait for them if you can...

http://www.batlabs.com/ht6hack.html

There will be different splits as well.

VHF UHF
136-151MHz 403-433MHz
146-152MHz 438-470MHz
157-174MHz 470-500MHz
...................488-520MHz

An H43 model # prefix indicates VHF, and H44 indicates UHF..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

H44SVU7120x is a two channel UHF 4 watt HT600 radio..

H44SVU7160x is a six channel UHF 4 watt HT600 radio.

H34SVU71x0 is a UHF two watt HT600 radio.

And as has been mentioned there are three ranges in the UHF.
You have to check the board number to be sure as mentioned on the
BatLabs HT600 page.
