XTS5000 mdc

Post by Kenneth Jensen »

Hi - can anyone tell me if this xts5k will encode/decode mdc1200?
I believe it has the H14 option needed for this - but will it still work with an firmware this old?

HOST : R.02.20.00
DSP : R.02.20.00
Flashcode : 5400010004000

Thanks
Kenneth

H14/G114 is Digital ID Display
it think MDC is included after 5.0 firmware.
send it for a service and it will come back with the latest firmware
2.x is really old. but remember you will need the newest CPS

Is it one of those 123ABC1234 radios?

If it is, good luck sending it in.

no it has an legit s/n of 320cduxxxx - but it is an panter88 radio - model 2 on ebay for 880usd - that means it does not have the mdc1200 functions with an firmware that old?
