If I recall correctly, you should be able to create a new one from scratch in Saber RSS, something like Create New Personality File...

The RSS allows you to create/modify new codeplug data...under F3, select model type, then model number range, then band split.

1. Secure or clear

2. Model number: H44QXK7139CN...Etc......

3. Band split: 403-433, 146-162, 66-88.1, 136-150.8 and so on....

If your radio is an 'AN' version, it MUST remain an 'AN' version.

Also, do NOT attempt to program ANY higher level CORE options, like 8D or the like into any 5D or earlier CORE radio...they will not work.

Master STATALERT options will not function with any radio with less than a 6D or 8D core, those are the ONLY core versions that are factory designed to work with advanced signalling/stat options, same goes for the two 'RAT' buttons below the PTT...useless on 5D and earlier cores.

You can always program a secure model as a non secure model, that's easy, then you will also have a choice as to how the MDC ID operates...PRE, POST or BOTH.

The RSS will also warn you of falsing in SCAN if you have MDC enabled on any channel that is set/programmed as a scan channel...F2 it and F@ again to lose the screens...usually never a big deal with hammy setups, but potentially worrisome if used as a P.S radio.

Hello all, and thanx for your help.

When I create codeplug from scratch, the radio core ID does not match the current radio personnality file built....
What am I doing wrong ?

Radio still display Err 0-81 and no saved codeplug (bought as is)

Thanx
