Waris Tuner Serial Numbers

Post by NSPD »

Anyone figured out a way to modify the Professional Series tuner so that you can write a tuning profile back into a radio with a different serial number?

Or... anyone found a way to change a radio's serial number with the tuner? There is a menu option for it, but if the number isn't blank, it won't let you change it.

Not that it really matters.....

But I had to revive a dead radio with a lab codeplug and the Serial number is now " 1 ", and I want to reset it back to the original number so I can load the tuning data back in.

You can use the depot tool to set the serial number or modifiy the latest tuner program. You can find the modification on my homepage.
The modification let you set a new serial number in the radio (not only on a blanked board.
