folks
i have an mcs200mod II and i am trying to set the minimum volume level. i am using cps ver 2.02.00 i have looked the spofteare all over and i just cant find a setting for the minimum volume. I can find a minimul alert tone volume but thats it. Am i missing somthing or is there no setting for this and its dependant totally on the control head volume knob?

You have to use Micedit.exe!It´s a part of the Wookie RSS.

i am not familliar with that file, and i dont see it anyplace on the "genuine" factory cd Why would there be a seperate program for that?

Andreas is referring to an overseas LAB program. You normally can't change the default minimum volume for the MCS series radios.

i THINK WHAT I MAY DO IS PUT IN SOMEKIND OF VOLUME POT INLINE WITH THE SPEAKER. tHIS RADIO IS SET UP IN MY OFFICE AND THE PROblem is that it disturbes my better 1/2 even all the way down
