Astro information

Post by Batwings21 »

Not trying to stir up old arguments, but since the Newbie guide was outdated according to many people, the knowledge base is down, Batlabs main site is outdated and p25.ca is no longer public are there any other resources for astro information? Not to mention search ignores astro saber and many other common terms. I am not trying to start anything, I realize all the fine people running the board have more to worry about than this, I'm just wondering if there are any other caches of info left that I haven't discovered, or anything new coming.

Well...what are you looking for? Most of the info in the sources you cite is available here in the fourms, though you will have to do a search.

Right - he gets that, but again, the search stuff is having issues with it's indexes - or it's ignoring terms, so the information really has to be browsed for.

I see your point 100% - the KB hopefully will be coming back soon, I'll try and move it around this week, or at least get it up for the time being. I wasn't expecting it to take this long to move around, but I've just had a lot of other crap going on in life that I haven't been able to.

I would try searching for terms which say what your actually looking for. If your just looking to read about stuff, I don't think Search will work the way you want... But if your looking for a specific question, try putting those words in, or do queries like "astro and saber" and see if that works (I haven't tried, but play with it).

I know at the moment this is the best place for info on anything Motorola, but During the transition I have had to struggle to learn what I have about astro radios. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thanks for answering. I know you will get the issues with the site resolved as soon as you can, we all have jobs that take priority.
