In attempting to read an SM-50 this weekend I apparently corrupted the codeplug. Could not locate the backup file. This is on a VHF 2-channel model. Is the codeplug tied to the serial AND model number? Wondering how best to convert this doorstop back into a radio. Thanks for any suggestions.
