Astro Saber Flash Cable

Has anyone constructed the service cable on the main page for the astro sabers? Im trying to determine if its the radio i have thats flaky or the cables diagram is incorrect. I have just verified the cable is made to the same diagram as the one posted.

The radio reads/writes fine but will not put hte radio in boot mode.
