RIB Box for radio programming

Post by Jim2121 »

someone dropped me an email and asked what I thought about this RIB?
I've never used this brand or seen it. So I say it will work or it won't.
Anyone else seen or use this brand?

Jim if you need to borrow a rib box I'm not using mine for a while.

It's an original RLN4008B and I have several cables for the following radios saber, XTS3K, STX, Mt1000 maxtrac ...

Thanks Mike! but I got one from Monty in 2002. most of the time I program anything I bring in at work.
This was a rush question from a friend, maybe I'll get that person to sign-up-here. I have a feeling there will be more questions! After this post I found out someone in Phoenix bought 1 and it works fine.

I recently purchased a RIB from Kenwah via eBay, and have no regrets. It did indeed ship from Singapore, and arrived within 2 weeks. It even works. I was comfortable enough dealing with them that I went back and purchased some cables.
