S-Record/ Dos codeplug request VHF ASIII IMBE

Post by Batwings21 »

Looking for a s-record or dos readable codeplug for a VHF ASIII with newer firmware, n7.70 dsp 8.03.03. I now have imbe operation and conventional operation. I would like to add some features mainly the ability to display decoded id's and add some mdc features. I will take more, but that is what I need. Whore flash would be fine also, as long as it does those options. Email to batwings21 at yahoo dot com Thanks in advance.

Do dos-readable codeplugs exist exists for such new firmware? I saw a few radios up on eBay with newer firmware(which is what I wanted in the first place), but was afraid I'd have to go out and buy a newer CPS. Would it be possible to say buy an astro saber with ancient firmware, backup the codeplug, upgrade it, force in the old codeplug, and then continue using ancient RSS? I'm afraid there'd be too much of a mismatch between codeplugs, RSS, and firmware.

I'm not sure on that one, I was just thinking if it was a dos style, I would not have to use an s-record, and not have to retune.

Got what I wanted, thanks to the man... you know who you are. Thanks again.
