DECAL INSIDE AS1

Hello. I recently got an AS1, and on the front shield [ holds the speaker ] there is a decal that says " Contains technology patented by Digital Voice Systems Inc". Is this DVP or what? Thanks GARY N4KVE

I think I can answer my own question. Digital Voice Systems designed IMBE. I haven't seen this decal inside any other radios. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. GARY N4KVE

Ive seen it in the top of my XTS3ks as well

Doesnt seem to appear in later models

Same here for the 3000's, it's in my XTS2500 as well
AES AND DES ARE NOT CCI's - YOU CAN EXPORT THEM IF YOU WANT - Wassenaar Arrangement

Yup. 3000's and 5000's here all have the DVSI patent sticker on the top inside of the radio's metal backing.
