This probably is a lost cause but I have a HMN1001B hand mic that I use with a GM300 that has a broken PTT button - the black button you press to transmit. That button has a shaft internally that pivots on the mic casing and the button pushes on the internal PTT switch. Well the shaft on the button is broken and I'm looking for another one. Does anyone know what other model microphones use the same button to allow for a swap? Or maybe there is a part number for this button to look up (that may be a real stretch since the mic is old for sure).
I am using another mic for now but I kind of like the big clunky thing. Any info is of course appreciated.

Re: HMN1001B PTT
I'm not sure about the HMN1001B, my mind is slipping and I can't remember which manual to find it, but your description sounds like you need p/n 3880144D05. You may find that number stamped in the plastic of your broken parts along the thin shaft that swivels.

Ok - the info is very helpful. There was some kind of number there so I'll check it out and see.
