I'm getting this error on power up and changing channels in a UHF low-split SSIII. I've looked in all the usual spots for the error code, and can't seem to find it. Any thoughts from the braintrust here?

Error 08 indicates a blank internal EEPROM. Try reprogramming the radio.

That's just the thing. It's programmed. It's programmed just like the other 4 SS3 that I have, and none of those show an error.

Enable phone mode, enter the phone settings in the personality for that channel. disable the phone in the personality then program radio. go back and disable the phone radio wide, reprogram radio and that should do it.
