for this SABER R "housing-knop"? Thanks a lot.

Hi everybody, hi Dave-

after using the new buttons for maybe three month, one of the very small
pins once again break off. Ok- no problem I ordered already ten of them,
and replaced the broken button but they are not cheap ...
Do anybody know, if these buttons are available in metal instead of plastic?

Here in Germany the told me, that these buttons are always made of plastic ... :cry:

If I am not mistaken the original buttons were metal. At some time Motorola started replacing those with the Plastic ones, I am sure to save on production cost. It is much cheaper to make injection molded plastic than to make the same part in metal. That is why you are seeing so many surplus Astro Saber R's with broken battery buttons......
