I was modifying the program in my 5k when I saw the option in the "Conventional Personality" "Advanced" tab called "Advanced RF AGC". I read the help screen and saw that it had a warning advising only to use that option if you had Intermod problems. How would I know if I have intermod problems? I work in a correctional facility with a ton of concrete, steel, and electrical conduits running outside the walls. I would like to activate any feature that will improve my signal. Oh did I mention that we are on a 20 year old VHF repeater system. Lots of nice dead spots. What about "second side lo injection" on the same tab?
Any help is appreciated

Might want to read the above link this may help you understand intermod. I would doubt you are having intermod in that situation (I could be wrong) unless you have a few other systems right on top of what you are using. You probably don't want to do anything with those particular settings on your radio.
