MotoTRBO telemetry between 2 portables

Hello all!

I have 2 mototrbo DP3601 (euro version of XPR6550)
and i am trying make the telemetry options to work just to see how it works and what i can use it for. but no matter how i program the radios,
the transmitting radio always say: (message ack failed) when i trie to make it do somthing.
but i am just trying to use a voltmeter on the accessory connector and i
maybee think from what i can read in the cps help that the portable radios need somekind of GPIO accessory cabel
with some serial data to GPIO converter on before it can work ?
so can any one confirm mig thoughts and maybee explain how it works if that is not the case?

i also need to know electrical specification of the telemetry GPIOs
if i need somekind telemetry cabel can some one please give me the part number?

/\/\ says some of the pins on the portable do double-duty and it needs a special adapter (that's not yet available)to tell the radio to set the pins up to be general purpose IO pins for use with telemetry. I guess we'll just have to wait until they add that adapter to the price pages or use mobiles in the meantime.

i have recently emailed my dealer for information about the telemetry cable and i have not received a reply yet..

But i have found an example for the programming for the telemetry options in the CPS
and i have programede my radios correctly so it supposed be working when this cabel become available i hope
