Question XTS3k INTERNAL RF connector

Post by kk6rq »

I need to swap RF sections between two XTS3000s. Anybody know if/how the INTERNAL RF connector
disconnects from the RF board? (the brass thingy with the other side of the wire going to the inside bottom of the
antenna connector.) Specifically, is it a plug or do I need to desolder the antenna end?

Check batdudes guide to astros out, it should help. And it is a connector, not sure which way it snaps though.
