XTVA/Convertacom for XTS1500/2500?

Post by echelon0911 »

I presume the answer is 'no', but want to ask the experts...

Are there any convertacom-type options for XTS1500/2500 series portables? I know the 3000/5000 have XTVAs, but didn't know if there was anything for the lower-end portables.

Thanks...

My understanding is that Motorola has discontinued production of all XTVAs. There was a cancellation notice for the xtva for the 3k/5K.

Do you have anything to support this? The only vehicle adapters that I'm aware of canceled in the last year were for Professional series radios

I just took a spare charger and used some metal brackets to mount it to the side of my radio/siren mounting arm. It isn't an XTVA by any means but it at least keeps it charged.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
