How do you swap out LED's in an XTS2500?

Post by Wicho »

I recall there being a thread where people had done it to their XTS3000 and 5000's, but can't find the thread. I thought this would give me a good starting point.

Anyone done the mods to an XTS2500? The real reason I want to try it is that I have some of those military 2500's with the dim backlight and no TX/RX LED. While the dim light doesn't bother me much,...what the heck, I wouldn't mind a cool blue or white LED backlight.

Thanks all.
