MTS2000 question

Post by MT2000 man »

Good day all,
I have an MTS2000 UHF Model I that I have an MDC ID on 4 channels, with DOS (to mute the MDC noise) activated for all channels. My problem is, on the other channels, it lets the MDC1200 squawk pass, the DOS only works on the channels I have my MDC1200 ID set up for, how would I change that to have it activated on all channels ??

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

my method of getting this to work, is to setup a new MDC system with any code you want, make sure to disable Pre-PTTID, and Post-PTTID, then setup the DOS settings for that MDC system. now affiliate the system with each channel that you desire DOS on, but no PTTID.

hope that helps!

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. I will try that. It's odd because on my MT2000 I had a MDC PTT ID on a few channels, and DOS seemed to work fine on the other channels (the channels without my PTT ID). Thats odd.
Thank you again !
