XTS5000 Scan Lists

Post by WCHija »

I searched this forum and could not figure out how to or if it is possible to switch between scan lists on my 5k. Can I scan only list 2 or whatever?

With each conventional personality you set up, you can assign a scan list.. So for example, if you have chan 1-16 using conventional personality 1, you could assign scan list 1 to that personality. Then, lets say chan 17-32 are using conventional personality 2, you could assign scan list 2 to that personality.

You could also assign a conventional personality to each indiv chan, that way you can mix and match scan lists.. IE, chan 1-6 use scan list 1, chan 7-12 use scan list 2, chan 13-16 use scan list 3, and so on...

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

How did you assign 2 lists to 1 personality?
