I recently got a XTS5000 for 800mhz amature radio, and was wondering how do i view the flash codes and get into setup from the radio itself. I know i can do it from the pc via the data cable but was just wondering if it could be done from the HT itself.
Its a XTS5000 model 1 with limited keypad.
Thanks for any help.

Re: XTS5000
OK since nothing in 800MHZ is amature in the US I am not sure what you are trying to do. Scond a model one has no keypad, the model two has a limited keypad. I would suggest reading the astro Primer listed at the top of this forum. Might be of some help to you.ani216 wrote:I recently got a XTS5000 for 800mhz amature radio, and was wondering how do i view the flash codes and get into setup from the radio itself. Re: XTS5000
Motorola doesn't make XTS5000s in 900MHz.
As far as I know, there is no 800MHz amateur band anywhere in the world. I know there isn't any in the US for certain... and the poster is coming from a US IP.
For now, this thread has a smell... either of troll or of illegal activity. Locky locky. Ani216 - feel free to PM me if you want to discuss.
