Changing Soft ID from keypad on a XTS 3k or AS3

On a XTS 3k, or AS3 front display, by using the menu option "prog", looks like I can view my soft ID, edit it, but how do I save the changed ID? By trying different button combinations, the ID always reverts back to the one that was set with the CPS.

Once you are done entering the soft id, press the top side button (Purple on XTS, Large monitor button on AS3)
