I want to save myself from spending $26 on a DB25 to DB25 cable and am wondering if anyone knows what the pinouts to the DDN6333 cable are.
Even if they don't, does anyone know where the following are on the DB25 of the remote-head spectra are?
Ground
Mic
Busy Radio
Data+ Radio
Data- Radio
Receive input A
Receive input B Con.
These are on the Digital junction box and need to match the corresponding ast0r spectra connections in order to work with an RCH3000 desk controller.

Re: DDN6333: Astro spectra to L3208 Jct Box cable
I didn't think you could connect a junction box directly to an Astro Spectra. I'm pretty sure you need to have a W9 Astro Spectra Consolette, with the TRN7391 "audio interface board" between the radio and the "Accessory Connector 2" that the junction box connects to...
As far as I know, the DDN6333 is just a straight-thru DB25-DB25 cable.
From the Astro Spectra Consolette Service Manual, the "Accessory Connector 2" (DB25) pins required for digital remote control are:
Pin 2 - AUD_SHLD (ground, audio or analog)
Pin 3 - TX+ (TX audio high)
Pin 6 - Busy
Pin 7 - BUS+
Pin 11 - TX- (TX audio low)
Pin 12 - DIG_GND
Pin 14 - DGT-RX+ (SPKR_HI)
Pin 15 - DGT-RX- (SPKR_LO, don't ground!)
Pin 19 - BUS-
Pin 20 - Reset
At first glance, it appears the TX audio from the junction box to the consolette is balanced audio, where the standard Astro Spectra just has an unbalanced audio input on pin 8 on either of the front DB25's.
It also looks like the "audio interface board" has a bank of surface mount resistors to convert the Astro Spectra's audio output to 16 ohm impeadance for the junction box/desksets...
