HI
Friends I have XTL 5000. When i communicate with one spectra in secure mode. I get noise for few counts( like testing 1.2,3,5.. ) after that it get wel clear. but it is with one spectra set. others clear. even other sets will hear very clear
what may be the problem.

What kind of encryption are you using?
More details about both radios as well - firmware versions, etc, all would be helpful.
I would probably wager to say it may be an alignment issue, but I'm not sure.

There was a problem with Astro Spectra firmware between R11.01.01 and R11.07.00 with DVP-XL that SRN1368 is supposed to address. I understood it affected receiving on the Astro Spectra but perhaps it affects transmit as well?
