Power up of CDM1550

Post by KMB »

Hello,

I am new to CDM1550, do I need to find any "adoptor" or "jumper" at the back of the radio to power up the radio like Specrtra?? As I find there is a cord other than the one have 2-head power cord.
What is the P/N?
or I can make one by hand??

Thank you!

find a 16 or 20 pin connector, then feed +12v into Pin #10, accessory, that is, a +12v switched with the iginition key, NOT hot all the time.

HLN9457 is the part number i believe, although i am referencing an ebay auction :(

I saw a part number HN9327 Ignition Sense Kit on eBay, does it work with CM1550?
And how about the external speaker for CM series? Does it have ignition pin like the ignition sense kit?
Thank you!

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

the ignition sense is the same for the cdm750, 1250, and 1550. it is pin 10 on all of them and you have to turn on the function in the cps so the radio knows to sense for it.
