Sys9000 cable part number?

Post by Bob »

I'm looking for the part number(s) for a T cable for Systems 9000 accessories.
I want to be able to connect both a VRS AND a siren to my Astro Spectra. Any ideas?

Bob, I may be way off in left field here, but I think its possible to put a VRS board in a siren box with the siren? I know you can put a pair of option boards in the box with either one, but it seems like I remember something about being able to put both in the same box without any option cards. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable on the subject will chime in and correct me if necessary.

I'll have to look into that.
The unit that I'm looking to integrate is a VRS750 if it matters any.

OK Bob, I remembered where I saw the info on this subject and went to double check. I was correct, the VRS board can be mounted in the same enclosure as a Siren/PA board, as long as you don't need any option boards mounted in it, too. The external option housing, which is the box the Siren/PA or VRS can normally also hold a pair of option cards, but the VRS takes up all the room for them if installed in the same option housing as the Siren/PA. For more info on this, as well as almost anything else you may want to know about a Spectra or a Syntor X9000, check out Mike Blenderman's most excellent website, http://www.open.org/~blenderm/index.html. When it comes to these radios, Mike is the man!

I was just looking through an old price sheet that I found. It listed an option as "ALT: CABLE, SIREN 'T'" with an option number of G334. I think that's the part that I need. I just need to find the part number for it.

Edit:
Found it! HKN6154 is what I'm looking for. Thanks to those who replied!
