upgrading my "RDC" XTS3000, need some stuff

Post by N9LLO »

I just ordered a Model III case from Panter88 for my UHF low split XTS3000 model II. Now I need the rest of the hardware and an S record to complete the job. I'm not exactly sure what hardware I need but I am pretty sure someone here can help out with the s record.

Thanks
Chris

What radios do you own?: XTS3000 R-split, Systems Saber

I'm trying to do something similar with my yellow XTS3000 H09RDC9PW5BN aka the model one [Firmware 07.24.00.00 / DSP N08.03.02 / Flashcode 100008-000480-9 / Codeplug 000C / System Package H38 ]. That extra hardware would most certainly make my ebayed P25 ham handheld even more usable than it already is now, in terms of the preprogrammed memory channel user interface.

Any pointers where I might find the display, the keyboard flex and the model three keyboard? I was thinking about ordering the model three cover, in any other colour than black of course, from panter88 as well, but those other hardware parts might be a problem. Haven't seen those at a reasonable price anywhere yet.
