GP68 Factory Reset Method How?

Post by chammerbeck »

I found one post doing a search that had to deal with SPM and
pressing low, sig, sql, and scan. This didn't seem to work....
I'm a little stumped on this and my radio has been programmed
with some weird settings I'd like to clear out.

Thanks,
Chris

Try the following, it's the reset sequence for the AP73: While in SPM (Special programming mode) hold the PTT button down then push 1 3 5 7 9 in that order.

Oops - forgot to add, after pushing the 1 3 5 7 9 in that order, it should prompt you to erase. Confirm the erase by pushing the light/enter button to proceed, pushing any other button or releasing the PTT cancels the entire reset. Hope this helps
