Visar VHF antenna ???

Visar VHF antenna ???

Anyone have any Problems with using a VHF Visar antenna on an XTS? Im looking at getting one PN #8505834W02

I have a wideband and a Standard 6" but im looking for something that wont poke me in the ribs.

Common trick with the Jedi series radios, should work just as well on XTS. Not quite as efficient but long as you're not on the fringe of a system they work pretty well and as you've noticed are a lot smaller.

The system is not a problem. I can usally hit the repeater with my saber and a Stubby VHF from 15+ miles

I use a Visar antenna on an XTS as well and I have no problems. I like the look a lot better!
