GTX Indicator Lights

Hello group,

I am new to this board as a poster, but have been looking through posts as a guest for a while now. I have recently gotten into the hobby of amateur radio and have used both Maxtrac and GTX radios in the 900 band.

My question is about the indicator lights on the GTX mobile. I understand that the red light shows TX, while the yellow light shows RX (or a busy channel). However, I find no mention anywhere of the green light in any manual. I originally thought maybe the green light is for Private Conversations, but at my job, I use 800 mhz GTX mobiles, and the green light does not come on. What is the green light for, and how do I get it to activate?
