900MHz XTL?

900MHz XTL?

anyone seen / used one of these in the field?

wondering how they compare to the MCS2000

We've sold 3 now, they seem to rx a little better than the mcs2k. We are only using them on a analog smartnet system.

I've both seen and used 900mhz XTL and XTS's. The audio off both radios I think is a lot better with the DSP than that of the MCS/MTS. Performance wise I haven't used them enough to really be a good judge of what's better.

I'll bet my Maxtrac sounds better, and will the XTL get down to .15uV sensitivity? :lol:

Don't know about 900, but I recently checked out a boardmembers xts5k vhf that was quite usable at .15-.2 uV.
