I know that 511xxx#### are usually MTX800 radios, All of my MTS2000's are 466xxx####.
I see MTS2000's with 432xxx#### serial numbers. Are these the pre-flashport radios? I've stayed away from purchasing any 432 units because I don't know the difference, and I'm also not sure what RSS/CPS can be used to program them.
Any help is appreciated.

The easy way to tell is if you press the button above PTT 5 times after power up. It will tell you what firmware revision is.

Correct, and I know which firmware is in each of my radios, but my question remains, what's the difference in a 432xxx#### and a 466xxx#### MTS2000?

I don't think the prefixes are set in stone. I have Astro sabers which are 465 & some are 310. My MTX 8000's are 511 but a few are 401 which is a MT2000 prefix. I sometimes lay awake at nights trying to figure this out. Seriously I'd like to know also. GARY N4KVE

Re: MTS2000 432 vs 466 models
My MTS2000 has 432 for the first 3 of the Serial Number, and it's definitely a Flashport radio. Was programmed via. CPS not too long ago. I would not worry.

From what I gathered at the depot nearly all the 432 serial number radios were originally 1-9 conventional only radios. Other than that there is no difference. BN's still got the 6150's and the AN's got the 6147's controllers.
