Putting MAXTRAC on 10 FM

Post by wa6gre »

Assuming I have a radio with the proper split, how difficult is it to move it down to the 10 Meter FM Ham Band ?
Any hardware mods or do I just program it ?

Thanks for any tips.

Use lab or the shift-trick to program.
Then below 29.6, power and modulation will NOT be adjustable for via RSS.
I put in manual pots for these, and the power one on the front panel and played with the voltage divider network to get ~5-60 watts with the full range on the pot.
No RF mods are needed.
