MCS200 RSS software version

I am looking to purchase a MCS2000 800MHz smartnet radio. What I need to know before is what version of RSS software is needed, just to make sure that my dealer can program it, If not I have a brick.

The only way to tell what version it was programmed with last is to read it with a the same or higher version. Since most legitimate Motorola shops had subscriptions to the MCS2000 software (very common radio) you should not have a issue.

Motorola works different here in mexico, ontime purchase for RSS software, no such thing as a subscription.

You still need to read the radio with the same version or higher to tell you what version it was last programmed with. The seller might be able to tell you.

seems that there is confusion in my question.

WHAT IS THE NEWEST VERSION OF RSS SOFTWARE FOR THE MCS 2000? i.e. R05.05.00 ect.


This way I can make sure thay have the newest. No problems
