So I figure 12.00.01 should be out next week?

Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

• Additional channel support for XTS 5000/2500/1500 and MT 1500 radios
We have 850 channels now, how many more do we get? How many more do we need?

Why not something useful, say like a bigger scan list.

Got the CPS loaded on my Visa machine (finally! Thank You!), seems to work fine. I'm not too keen on the classic windows setting though....

Yup, same as Ver10 and Ver11
Also, once you use Ver12, you can't go back versions either.

Don't have the specific number, but you will need FW12 to find out. CPS doesn't auto add them.

Ok, here are the new max channels for Portables....

XTS5000= 1000
XTS2500= 870
XTS1500= 96
MT1500= 96
PR1500= 32

And the Mobiles basically follow the same suit..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

I've got an XTL5000 thats now got host R12.00.00 in it and CPS12 still comes up and says 850 modes in the radio wide screen.

Any ideas why?
