Astro Spectra Fail Code Help A C1

Post by WCHija »

I have a W-7 AS in a consollette that displays "A C1" immediately upon power up. I guess it could also be displaying "A CL", its hard to say. CPS will not read the radio (communication with radio failure) but it will go into service mode if I press the button 5X. Any suggestions?

That doesn't sound like an error code to me, sound like zone A and mode name C1. What is the model number of the unit? How are u trying to read it?

With CPS and a cable, through the mic port on the front of the control head

Um wow, no astro spectra (unless its a plus) programs through the mic port. Its also considered a remote mounted radio which means you have to do it through the 15 pin plug on the back of the radio itself. Gotta pop the cover off the consolette.
