Post by BerksLieut14 »

I have a HT1250 Low Band...when I turn it on...I get a constant squelch it does not go away and it is on all the frequencies...is there something that can be done to fix this...my friend has the programming software..or do I need to take a trip to radio repair. I did drop it a couple times on calls.

can you edit your squelch level via menu option? Is it set for tight or normal squelch level?

It is set for normal.

What is the small battery for that is on the board? I noticed it when I opened the radio up.

The LiIon coin cell maintains the radio's clock when the normally-used battery is removed.
