HT1250 LS programming question

Post by ffemt1764 »

Ok I have a simple question that I can't seem to find an answer for...can you program a conventional channel to do MDC signalling in a 1250 LS? If so how? The radio is F/W 4. something and I am using CPS 6.08.05. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

use the search function, this question is asked a few times a week and the answer is still the same, no the mdc will not work on conventional channels on the ht1250 ls or ls+ models

STOP ASKING ME FOR SOFTWARE OR FIRMWARE, I JUST FORWARD ALL OF THE REQUESTS TO THE MODERATORS

Uh.. yes it will. I have a HT1250LS+ that's running MDC on a conventional channel.

Correct NSPD 8)

LS mdc no
LS+ mdc yes

HLA, if you don't use the exact right combo of words, the search is useless. Some folks might not know the exact phrase or word combo to get info their looking for. Give em a break, and tell em what to search for please.

I think an LS+ will do MDC on conventional only if the model number ends in 7AN or a 9AN.

Mine is a H25MDF4DP5AN with 05.12.02 Firmware (updated from 05.08.03). It's had the DTMF kit upgrade done to it, and it's supported MDC1200 since the day I got it, up to 4 systems with PTT-ID, Page, Call, Radio Check, and Answer Mode.
