I don't think they are offering the Centracom Elite anymore, you have to look at the MC5500 or MC7500. The 7500 I believe has an almost identical interface to the elite, but I'm not 100% sure on it.

That may be why you've been "ignored" per say.

Unless you're a system that has an existing Elite install, you're pretty much outta luck, for a new system purchase. They are really not being sold anymore, with only a few exceptions, that if your asking here, you dont fit anyway.

The MCC series stuff is SOO much smaller, much more friendly by today's standards and will have every bit as much features when the rest of the conventional features roll out.

The 5500 has an odd interface, that's a little different, but works. The 7500 is identical in nearly all aspects to the OP screen to that of the Elite.

Dont get me wrong, the centracom is an awesome platform. There isn't much it cant do!
It's time as come and gone though.

Interesting twist that I am hearing about. . . .
The MCC5500, MCC7500 and MIP5000 are CML products resold by Motorola. . . . .
Rumor has it that MA/COM has/is purchasing CML

From one of the systems guys at the local /\/\ shop here is saying that Motorola is relaying that the end-of-life announcement on gold elite may/is in the process of being recinded.

Something about Motorola not wanting the competition to know how to interface to all of /\/\'s products. . . . .
I have not been able to confirm any of this beyond what is posted in my message.

Just my $1.95 and ymmv. . . .
